As a result of Russian shelling in Kherson, the building of the former Mutual Credit Society house was destroyed.
Photos of the aftermath of the attack were published on the social networks of the Kherson Region State Emergency Service.
It is reported that a drone struck the building, which caused a fire.
Rescuers, despite the constant activity of enemy drones and the threat of renewed shelling, extinguished the fire, the report says.
No people were injured as a result of the strike and the fire, the State Emergency Service said.

This building was erected in 1899 to a design by provincial architect Anton Svarik for the Mutual Credit Society.
In 1923 the building housed the Transport Consumer Society, and from the 1930s — the Kherson Institute of Physical Methods of Treatment.
In the early 2000s the building was restored and transferred to the Kherson branch of the Russian Sberbank, which was located there until 2019.
The building was damaged by shelling in February 2023. The façade was peppered with shrapnel and the building’s windows were damaged.
