The Russians stated that in 2027 they allegedly plan to plant new orchards on the territory of the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region with state support.
This was reported on the website of the occupation authorities, citing the words of the so‑called acting minister of the region’s agro-industrial complex, Alime Zaredenova.
According to her, in 2026 the occupation administration plans to work on preparing and approving projects, and already the following year – to begin planting orchards. It concerns seed, stone-fruit and nut crops – this is supposedly going to depend on the initiatives of local producers.
The report also notes that the first harvest from such orchards can be obtained no earlier than in three–five years, and during that period farmers are promised state support.
Recall that agricultural produce from the TOT of Kherson region is exported by the Russians to other countries – mainly those loyal to the RF. Thus, recently the so‑called governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo stated that the left-bank is allegedly ready to export agricultural products to Afghanistan.
It is also known that agricultural produce from the TOT of Kherson and Zaporizhia regions Russians export to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, as well as to Vietnam, India and China.
In addition, last year the occupation authorities said that seven “countries friendly to Russia”, expressed interest in purchasing food wheat from Kherson region. It was also reported that flour from the left-bank of Kherson region was intended to be exported to countries of Asia, Africa and the Arab world.
