The occupiers claim that in 2025 the left bank of Kherson Oblast switched to exporting agricultural products after processing them.
This is reported by pro-Russian media.
According to the occupiers, the development of the processing industry supposedly contributes to the creation of jobs and an increase in tax revenues.
Recall, in August this year the illegal authorities said that grain yields in the region were 2.5 times lower than expected.
At the same time, agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts are being exported by the Russians to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, as well as to Vietnam, India and China.
In addition, last year the occupying authorities said that seven “countries friendly to Russia”, expressed interest in purchasing food wheat from Kherson Oblast. It was also reported that flour from the left bank of Kherson Oblast was planned to be exported to countries in Asia, Africa and the Arab world.
