The Velykooleksandrivskyi District Court issued a verdict against a Beryslav Raion resident, Nataliya Antonyuk, who during the occupation headed an illegal election commission.
This is stated in the relevant court verdict.
The investigation established that in September 2022 Antonyuk accepted the occupiers’ proposal and took the position of chair of the so‑called precinct election commission No. 807, which operated in the territory of the villages Vysoke, Virivka, Matrosivka, Lvivski Otruby and Tavriyske.
In this position the woman organized a pseudo-referendum on the region’s exit from Ukraine and its accession to the Russian Federation. In particular, she kept records of the commission members’ working hours, compiled voter lists, prepared documents for staff replacement and equipped the premises of the village club in Vysoke with Russian symbols and voting booths.
Antonyuk also provided the commission members with portable ballot boxes and ballots, organized their security, and paid them 40,000 rubles each.
In addition, she personally took part in door-to-door visits of Virivka residents accompanied by armed Russian servicemen and offered people to mark their ballots.
Having examined the evidence, the court in absentia found Nataliya Antonyuk guilty of collaborationist activity (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
She was sentenced to 9 years’ imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
Earlier we wrote that a court in Odesa issued a verdict against a Kherson carrier for working during the occupation.
