The Ternopil city-district court has handed down a sentence to pseudo-policeman Danylo Shuprudko, who works for the Russians on the left bank of the Kherson region.
This is stated in the relevant court verdict.
The investigation found that in January 2023 in Henichesk Shuprudko assumed the position of an investigator in the so-called MIA department.
After receiving a uniform and weapons from the occupiers, Shuprudko began implementing Russian practices in the Kherson region. In particular, for half a year he investigated thefts and cases related to drugs. He also took part in operations — he supervised the seizure of four tons of beer at one of the wholesale bases, enforcing the occupation’s ban on alcohol sales.
In the summer of 2023, due to a lack of relevant education, Shuprudko failed re-certification for the investigator position under Russian standards. After that he was transferred to the patrol-post service, where he continued to work. As a patrol officer he guarded the occupation’s public order and helped the invaders identify “violators” among the local population.
Having examined the evidence, the court in absentia found Danylo Shuprudko guilty of collaborationist activity (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Earlier we wrote that a court in Odesa handed down a verdict to a Kherson carrier for working during the occupation.
