The occupying authorities in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region announced the adoption of the so-called “Long-Term Program to Promote Youth Employment for the Period up to 2030”.
This was reported on the website of the occupying government of the Kherson region.
According to the text, the occupying government of the Kherson region approved a program that allegedly is meant to regulate issues of career guidance, education, job creation and the development of youth entrepreneurship. Funding is provided within the limits of the employment service, and control over implementation has been assigned to one of the deputies of the head of the local administration – Serhiy Cherevko.
The document defines youth as persons aged 14 to 35 and describes a number of problems in the labor market, including a shortage of vacancies for a first job, lack of experience among young specialists, an imbalance between supply and demand, and the mismatch of education with employers’ requirements.
Overall, such a program is divided into two stages: 2025-2026 – preparation of amendments to local legislation, development of youth entrepreneurship and adjustment of admission rules to vocational education institutions; 2027-2030 – implementation of measures taking into account the results of the first stage.
Earlier MOST wrote that the occupying authorities announced their intention to allocate 30 billion rubles for the alleged “modernization” of housing and communal services of the left-bank Kherson region in 2025-2030.
