At the request of Kherson’s mayor Volodymyr Mykolayenko, American businessman and philanthropist Dell Loy Hansen will join efforts to help the city.
Volodymyr Mykolayenko wrote this on his Facebook page after meeting with the businessman.
“We are here to inspire Ukraine to become one of the strongest nations in Europe and a true light for the whole world” These are the words of American businessman and philanthropist Dell Loy Hansen. He is neither a politician nor a diplomat; he simply understands well that silence becomes complicity. He came to our country in May 2022 with the question: how to help people rebuild what they still believe in? And from that question arose Hansen’s Ukrainian mission — not as a monument to the efforts of one person, but as part of a large wave of solidarity of those who survived, those who work together to save Ukraine”, — noted Mykolayenko.
Dell Loy Hansen — an American businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder and CEO of Wasatch Group, an investment company operating in the real estate sector.
Hansen first visited Ukraine in May 2022 and began working to identify the most important needs of those affected by the war. He emphasizes that his mission is “to protect the innocent who cannot protect themselves”.
His contribution to helping Ukraine, especially internally displaced persons (IDPs), is significant and is being implemented through his charitable organization “Hansen Mission in Ukraine” (Hansen Ukrainian Mission).
