In 2026, UAH 51.4 million was allocated for the development of culture and spirituality in Kherson region.
The relevant order was signed by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The authorities plan to populate the State Electronic Register of Monuments of Ukraine by creating scientific and registration documentation for sites located in the region.
They also plan to carry out more than 50 inspections of the condition of historical sites and monumental art and to publish the monograph “Chervonomaiatskyi Late Scythian earthen burial ground. Research 2011 – 2021”.
In addition, the program provides for the organization of about 20 cultural and artistic events to support the moral resilience of residents and the integration of veterans, among other things.
Recall that, as a result of Russian armed aggression on the territory of Kherson region, have been damaged and destroyed 253 cultural infrastructure facilities – these are theaters, cinemas, museums, galleries, concert halls, etc.
