In 2025, farms in the Kherson region harvested more than 264 thousand tons of grain, pulses and industrial crops, as well as vegetables, potatoes, watermelons and melons.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
In addition, farmers have already begun preparing for the new season and have sown 106.5 thousand hectares of winter crops.
Prokudin emphasized that, together with the Government and international partners, work in the region continues to create conditions for the development of the agricultural sector, in particular on restoring irrigation, subsidy programs, grants and financial support.
Recall, in 2025 in the Kherson region almost 100 thousand hectares of completely destroyed crops. The greatest losses were suffered by grain and industrial crop plantings in the Beryslav district, because it is located closest to the destroyed Kakhovka Reservoir.
Earlier we wrote that as of October 16 Kherson region demonstrated the lowest corn yield figures among all regions of Ukraine – only 0.20 t/ha.
