The former head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, and now Ukraine’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Yurii Husiev is preparing to defend a doctoral dissertation.
This is stated in the announcement of the intention to defend the dissertation at the Central Research Institute of Armament and Military Equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The announcement states that Husiev is a professor of the Department of National Security and Political Science at the National University “Ostroh Academy”.
Husiev intends to defend in the specific specialty “National Security”.
The topic of the work is classified, so it is impossible to view the scientific publications that preceded its writing, or the dissertation itself.
It should be noted that Husiev already has a doctoral diploma
In 2014 he became a Candidate of Economic Sciences, defending at the Center for Industrial Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine a dissertation on the topic: «Development of small business in the region by means of franchising».
And in 2018 he became a Doctor of Theology, defending a dissertation on church history at the Chernivtsi Orthodox Theological Institute.
Recall that after his dismissal from the Kherson Regional State Administration, Yurii Husiev was appointed to head the state concern “Ukroboronprom”. In this position he was criticized for the failure of the reform of the state concern and loud promises that never came to fruition. In particular, this concerned the construction of an ammunition plant and the production of American helicopters.
