Pavlo Illyashenko, a graduate of the youth sports school for persons with disabilities and an athlete of the regional “Invasport” center, became the winner of the Ukrainian Judo Championship among athletes with hearing impairments.

Pavlo Illyashenko won first place in the weight category up to 100 kg.
It is noted that the competition took place in Dnipro, and the athlete is coached by Vadym Nikulin.
Earlier it was reported that a trainee of the Kherson youth sports school of freestyle wrestling Nazariy Chapurin took fourth place at the youth tournament “Tallinn Open 2026”.
Also, recently a tennis player from Kherson won the “bronze” at an international tournament in Slovakia.
