And on January 12, 2026 the head of the Kherson MVA issued an order to approve the composition of the Coordination Council. According to it, the council’s composition included 23 people, of whom 10 were officials and 13 were representatives of public organizations.
The new head of the council was elected during the meeting on January 15. Two candidates ran for the position: Roman Baklazhov and Olga Chernyak, an employee of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Korabelnyi District in Kherson.
Olga Chernyak then received support from 12 of the 20 present, Roman Baklazhov — 8.
