The Security Service of Ukraine announced suspicion against a resident of Nyzhni Sirohozy, Yuriy Vasylenko, who publicly demonstrates support for the occupation authorities.
The text of the suspicion was published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, in September 2023, after the so-called elections held by the occupying authorities, he received a mandate from the «United Russia» party and joined the illegally created council of deputies.
Vasylenko also participated in public events supporting the aggressor state and the occupation administration, in particular in propaganda actions, distribution of food packages on behalf of the «United Russia» party, as well as events dedicated to the anniversary of the occupation of Crimea and Russian state holidays.
