A resident of the Kherson region, who voluntarily headed an occupation inspection, has been found guilty of collaborationist activity. The court sentenced him to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation established that in 2022 the man assumed the position of head of the state supervision inspection in the occupation department of the agro-industrial complex. After the structure was transformed into the occupation Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the convicted person illegally headed the state supervision inspection of Kherson district.
In addition to imprisonment, the collaborator was deprived for 15 years of the right to hold positions in state authorities, local self-government, and to engage in activities related to the provision of public services.
