The occupation administration of Kherson region announced the approval “of a large-scale gasification program” for the left bank for the period up to 2033.
Occupation media report this.
According to the occupiers’ statements, the total volume of investment in the program allegedly amounts to 28,358 billion rubles. Financing, according to them, is to be carried out from off-budget sources.
The occupation administration claims that the program provides for the development of gas infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, in particular the modernization of gas distribution systems, the construction of trunk and inter-settlement gas pipelines, “gasification” of settlements, as well as the reconstruction of gas distribution stations and gas regulation points.
Recall, in March last year it became known that the Russian Federation allegedly allocated for the gasification of the left bank of Kherson region 39 million rubles. The funds were to be used to purchase and install gas-using equipment for residents in preferential categories and to carry out works during social gasification. The occupying authorities have not reported on the actual use of these funds.
Note that the sole gas operator in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions is the seized Ukrainian company «Chornomornaftogaz».
