The occupiers want to open in temporarily occupied Skadovsk on the left bank of the Kherson region “new” kindergartens due to alleged queues of those wishing to get into preschool institutions.

According to statements by representatives of the occupation administration, in the city “queues to kindergartens” have begun to form. They call their “intentions” regarding the opening of additional preschool institutions a “positive indicator in fulfilling the task” that Putin set for them – improving the demographic situation.
They also claim that about 5,000 people allegedly returned to Skadovsk, including young people who, in their words, “became disillusioned with the European dream and made a choice in favor of the Russian Federation”.
It should be noted that this spring the occupation authorities themselves recognized a demographic catastrophe on the left bank of the Kherson region. In particular, in the Holoprystan municipal district illegally created by them, they reported a decrease in birth rates.
