The so-called Ukrainian Orthodox Church on its official website claims that Yuriy Zverev is still the incumbent Metropolitan of Novokakhovka and Henichesk of the UOC of Filaret.
Journalist Oleg Batyrin reports this.

Since August 2024 Zverev has been the “diocesan hierarch” of the occupation-held Novokakhovka diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate).

Other UOC structures in the temporarily occupied territory of left-bank Kherson have also been entered into the Russian registry as subdivisions of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Recall, the diocese headed by Filaret began cooperating with the Russians as early as 2022 – on May 2 its churches commemorated pro-Russian militants who died in Odesa on May 2, 2014.
