An illegal Council for Industrial Development has been created on the left bank of the Kherson region under occupation governor Volodymyr Saldo.
Saldo signed the relevant decree on April 6.
According to the text of the document, the newly created council will operate on a public basis. The occupiers name the main tasks of the body as forming industrial policy according to Russian standards, anti-crisis monitoring, and developing proposals regarding the use of «support measures» for the region’s enterprises.
Recall, the industrial giants that operated on the left bank of the Kherson region (“Chumak”, “Green Team”, “Tavria”) have been destroyed and looted by the Russians.
The occupation authorities constantly talk about a large number of investors ready to develop the left bank, but in reality it is about money laundering.
In particular, in December of last year it became known that Saldo approved the construction of “Residential Quarter № 19” in Henichesk to a former official from Krasnodar Krai, and in the spring of 2026 – that the occupation governor transferred 40 hectares of land in Pryozerne to a shell company, whose founder has a criminal past.
