Train traffic toward Kherson is disrupted today due to heavy shelling – railway infrastructure has been damaged in several regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by “Ukrzaliznytsia” on its official Telegram channel.
In particular, in Kharkiv region trains – including service №102 Kherson-Kramatorsk – are traveling via a detour route through Merefa with a delay of about two hours. Ukrzaliznytsia has deployed reserve traction, combined transportation and bypass routes – to ensure the safe transport of passengers.
Train movement is also disrupted due to shelling in Kirovohrad, Kharkiv and Sumy regions – some passengers are being transported by buses. Railway workers urge passengers to remain calm – and to follow updates in the company’s official app.
As a reminder, we wrote that “Ukrzaliznytsia” launched new routes through Kherson region.
