In Russia they promised to allocate additional funding for the development of the healthcare system – including in the temporarily occupied Kherson region.
Pro-Russian media reported this.
The Russian government will allegedly allocate about two billion rubles to nine regions for major repairs in medical facilities and the purchase of equipment.
The list of recipients, besides the occupied Kherson region, included Belgorod, Zaporizhzhia, Ivanivska, Kursk regions, as well as Kabardino-Balkaria, the so-called “LPR”, Kalmykia and Mordovia.
It should be noted that, according to the data of the illegally created compulsory medical insurance fund of the Kherson region, medical services are satisfactory for only 34% of the population of the temporarily occupied Kherson region.
