The Defense Forces of Ukraine on the night of April 6 struck the floating drilling rig “Sivash”.
The operation was carried out by operators of the «Ptakhy» unit of the 413th Separate Regiment «Raid» of the Unmanned Systems Forces together with deep-strike units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Ptakhy of the Unmanned Systems Forces on the night of April 6 struck the frigate “Admiral Grigorovich” in the port of Novorossiysk and delivered a bit of blessed fire to the drilling rig “Sivash”, – the military post reads.
“Admiral Grigorovich”- the first military frigate of the «Burevestnik» project of the Russian Navy, a carrier of cruise missiles “Kalibr” and the SAM system “Shtil-1” (24 missiles).
“Sivash” — is a self-elevating floating drilling rig that until 2014 belonged to the Ukrainian state enterprise “Chornomornaftogaz”. After the annexation of Crimea it was illegally seized by Russia.
With the start of the full-scale invasion “Sivash” ceased to be an energy facility. The Russians turned it into a stationary military post in the middle of the sea.
