Earlier, the Russian army attacked vehicles with drones in the coastal areas of Kherson; the zone of these strikes has now expanded.
Suspilne was told this by the head of the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region, Andriy Kovanyi.
“We are recording attacks using UAVs of various types over an increasingly wide area. If earlier this was exclusively the coastal zone, now we notice a trend of increasing attacks in the city center itself. And, unfortunately, we have injured people — both civilians and our colleagues, the police. We have damaged and destroyed vehicles“, — said Kovanyi.
He also noted that there are numerous cases of identifying individuals among the Russian military who committed war crimes — who directly carried out shelling or gave orders.
“In some cases there are already convictions, albeit in absentia”, — said Andriy Kovanyi.
It was previously reported that the villages of the Stanislav community in the Kherson region have been under constant shelling, and recently drone attacks have significantly intensified, and they now threaten local residents almost around the clock.
