The issue of reducing the salaries of the leadership of the Kherson Regional Military Administration must be decided by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
This was reported to MOST by HOVA.
The administration explained that the current level of salaries is linked to the effect of government resolution No. 391. It provides for the application of a coefficient of 3 to the official salaries of employees of state bodies who work in areas of active hostilities and constant shelling.
In addition, by government resolution No. 114 the official salaries of employees of state authorities were increased.
The Kherson OVA noted that the salary increases took place not only in their administration but also in other state authorities.
At the same time, the agency admits that such payments are significant for the administration’s leadership. Therefore, with the Cabinet of Ministers they addressed the issue of reducing the level of pay of the head of the OVA, his deputies and the heads of departments with the status of a legal entity.
In particular, it is proposed to reduce their coefficient from 3 to 1.5 or 2.
“For the leadership these are very significant amounts. Therefore, with the Cabinet of Ministers the issue of reducing the level of pay of the leadership of the Kherson Regional Military Administration — the head of the HOVA, his deputies and the heads of Departments with the status of a legal entity — was worked through. In order to regulate the level of pay it is proposed to reduce their coefficient to 1.5 or 2. Currently the Government is considering making the relevant changes to the resolutions. We are awaiting the adoption of a decision”, – the OVA reported.
The Kherson OVA added that no other additional payments are provided for the administration’s leadership, except for the basic salary, the length-of-service allowance and the supplement for access to state secrets.
Earlier MOST reported that in February the leadership of the Kherson OVA in total received 1 589 699 hryvnias in salary. The largest payment was received by the head of the administration Oleksandr Prokudin — 328 221 hryvnias.
