Satellite images have emerged that show damage to the road bridge on the Arabat Spit, which connects the occupied part of the Kherson region with Crimea.
The images were published by the outlet “Radio Svoboda”.
In the images taken after the strike, changes are noticeable in the area of the roadway and the approaches to the crossing.


Recall, on the night of June 11 the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on bridges over the North Crimean Canal in the areas of Preobrazhenka and Myrne, the road bridge on the Perekop – Armiansk route, as well as a bridge near the village of Stavky.
Earlier, on the night of June 7 the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the bridge in Chonhar. After this the occupiers temporarily closed traffic through the road checkpoint “Dzhankoi”. On June 8 traffic there was reportedly restored in reverse mode, however on June 9 the bridge was attacked again.
In addition, as reported by the commander of the First Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, Dmytro Filatov, the supply of Russian troops through Crimea was disrupted as a result of the attack on the Chonhar bridge.
