Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 27-year-old resident of the region who worked in the occupying penitentiary system has been notified of suspicion.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, the 27-year-old suspect, in June 2022, having agreed to cooperate with the enemy, assumed the position of the so-called “senior inspector of the group for professional and service training of the personnel department of the Department of the Penitentiary Service for the Kherson region”.
In that so-called position he carried out the orders of the illegal leadership, facilitating the establishment and functioning of the law enforcement branch of the Russian occupying authorities in the Kherson region.
For this, he has been notified in absentia of suspicion of holding a position in an illegal law enforcement body (Part 7, Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier we wrote that former State Emergency Service employee from the Kherson region Oleg Kobelev, who assumed a position in the occupation service for civil defense and emergency situations, was notified of suspicion of cooperating with the occupying authorities.
