Residents of temporarily occupied communities on the left bank of Kherson region are widely complaining about frequent and prolonged power outages, as well as the absence of information about the causes of the failures and the timelines for restoring electricity.
This was stated by the so-called governor of Kherson Oblast, Volodymyr Saldo.
According to him, he has received a large number of appeals from local residents reporting a difficult situation with electricity supply. Saldo acknowledged that the problem is serious, but he assured that the occupying authorities and energy workers allegedly “are making every effort” to resolve it.
He also obliged the local occupation administrations to inform the population about the progress of emergency restoration works.
Recall, last year Saldo promised to ensure “stable electricity supply” on the left bank of the region. According to him, the occupiers plan to replace worn power cables to “ensure a reliable supply of electricity”, however mass power outages continue.
In addition, recently Saldo urged residents of the TOT of Kherson region to limit the use of electrical appliances.
