A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a sailor from Odesa region, Serhiy Litvinenko, was killed in the Kherson region.
This was reported by the head of the culture and tourism department of the Saratska settlement council, Anatoliy Sukharsky.
Serhiy Litvinenko was born in Blahodatne, Saratskyi district, Odesa region. He graduated from the local school, and then continued his studies at a construction technical college in the architecture faculty, dreaming of further education at an institute.
“In 2014 he was mobilized – he became a participant in the ATO. In 2023, again answering the call of the Motherland, Serhiy took up the defense of his native country”, – the post reads.
For a long time Serhiy was considered missing.
It was later established that the serviceman was killed on July 8, 2024, near the settlement of Olhivka in the Beryslavskyi district of Kherson region.
