Residents of Nova Zburiivka and surrounding settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region report a complete blackout that has been ongoing for 11 days.
This is reported by pro-Russian media.
Due to the lack of electricity, water supply in the villages has been automatically cut off, since the water towers operate from pumps. The situation is further complicated by the fact that gas has been absent in the communities since the summer — gas pipelines are damaged and are not being restored.
The occupying authorities are offering people to move to temporary accommodation points, but, according to residents, they are being offered relocation to summer cottages on the coast that are not at all suitable for living in winter.
Recall that last year the occupation-appointed governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo promised to ensure “stable electricity supply” on the left bank of the region.
As of the end of January 2026, rolling power outages have been introduced in the vast majority of communities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, but the schedules are very often not followed.
