Law enforcement authorities have notified in absentia a resident of Kherson Oblast of suspicion who took a job with the occupation administration.
This was reported on the social networks of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, in April 2024 the man received a position in the occupation administration of the Chaplynka community in Kakhovka district.
It concerns the so-called first deputy head for finance and economy.
Investigators believe that in this position he is responsible for the financial direction of the occupation authorities’ work. In particular, he communicates with local farmers, helps implement Russian programs, and takes part in events with signs of propaganda.
Also, according to law enforcement, he is involved in forming prices for socially important goods according to the rules established by the Russian Federation.
He is suspected of collaborationist activities (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
