President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Minister of Defense and the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strengthen the system of protection against Russian drones on the line between Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
He reported this on his social media.
According to the president, the relevant decisions of the Headquarters were adopted last year, but to date they have only been partially implemented. Zelensky instructed to carry out an inspection of the implementation of these decisions and to prepare response measures.
Recall that, according to the latest data, on average across the settlements of the Kherson community Russian forces launch more than 1,000 drones per week.
To counter drone terror in Kherson, they plan to introduce AI-interceptors — drones with artificial intelligence that are intended to destroy Russian strike drones while still approaching the borders and the front line.
