In Kherson, a woman died as a result of a traffic accident; among the injured is a minor girl: an investigation has been launched.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to investigators, on June 12, 2026, at around 19:30 in Kherson, the driver of a passenger car, while intoxicated, lost control of the vehicle and collided with a power line pole.
As a result of the road traffic accident, a 37-year-old female passenger died at the scene.
The driver and two other passengers, including a 15-year-old girl, sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
Initial investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the accident are currently underway. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region.
Recall, the Zavodskyi District Court of Mykolaiv granted investigators access to the contractor company’s documents, which is involved in rebuilding the village of Posad-Pokrovske in the Chornobaivka community. The contractor is suspected of embezzling public funds.
