The name of the municipal worker who was killed as a result of an enemy drone attack in Kherson has been revealed. The deceased — an employee of the wastewater service of the Kherson Vodokanal, Oleksandr Baranov.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
Oleksandr Volodymyrovych worked as a pump unit operator in the division responsible for the operation of sewage pumping stations.
“He was a responsible, brave, and devoted specialist who worked until the end for the stable functioning of the city and the well‑being of Kherson residents. Colleagues knew him as a true professional, a reliable comrade and a person with a big heart, always ready to help,” the statement reads.
Recall, the man died from the injuries as a result of a morning Russian attack on a facility of one of the municipal enterprises of the Kherson City Council in the Dniprovskyi district. Today he turned 62 years old.
