The Kherson City Court found a resident of the region, Andriy Trehub, guilty of collaborationist activities, who during the occupation of Kherson Oblast collaborated with the Russian authorities.
This is stated in the court’s verdict.
According to the investigation, from June 2022 Trehub in the village of Sokolohirne voluntarily agreed to work for the occupation administration of the Russian Federation. At first he took the position of the so‑called head of the settlement, and later – head of the territorial administration in the illegal authorities created by the Russians.
The prosecution requested 10 years of imprisonment, a 15-year ban on holding positions in government bodies, and confiscation of property. The court found him guilty and imposed the corresponding sentence.
Recall that the Kherson City Court issued a verdict against the director of a lyceum in Bilozerka, Nataliya Pankova, who agreed to cooperate with the occupation authorities.
