The Department of City Marketing and Tourism of the Kherson City Council purchased 50 souvenir tokens at a total price of 36 836 hryvnias.
The contract is posted on the Prozorro portal.
One token, which in the contract is called a “coin”, cost the budget 736 hryvnias.
Most likely this is about the token that officials presented for City Day in September 2025. These tokens are mistakenly called coins by officials, although they have no denomination.
On one side of the token – an arch with the inscription “Kherson”, ears of wheat and swallows. Next to it – the flag of Ukraine. On the other side the “Ukraine” cinema is depicted, which became a symbol of the residents’ resistance and heroism in the days of the occupation. Above all this are the words: “Kherson — Hero City”, the report says.
The goods were supplied by Kharkiv entrepreneur Serhiy Doroshenko.
