From the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region to territory under Ukrainian control, a family with two children was returned.
This was reported on the Telegram channel of the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The family is raising an 8-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. While in occupation, the teenager, who has a chronic illness, did not receive proper medical care.
Currently they are all receiving everything necessary: psychological, humanitarian and legal support, the report says.
They were returned as part of President Zelensky’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative thanks to the team of the NGO “Ukrainian Network for Children’s Rights”.
Recall, a pilot project to support children who were returned from temporarily occupied territories, the Russian Federation, Belarus and their families, has started in the Kherson community.
