A 17-year-old boy was returned to territory under Ukrainian control from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to him, while in occupation the teenager experienced constant pressure and intimidation and lived in fear.
The boy is now safe and receiving necessary assistance.
The return took place under the presidential initiative Bring Kids Back UA with the assistance of the charitable organization Save Ukraine.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, since the beginning of 2026, 76 children have already been returned from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast and the Russian Federation.
