Another group of children and teenagers from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region has been returned to territory under Ukrainian control.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Among the rescued are boys and a girl aged from 3 months to 17 years.
Among the rescued – a seventeen-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy who survived repeated invasions of their home by Russian troops. During one of them – the children witnessed the torture of their mother.
An eight-year-old and a five-year-old boy were trapped in their own home after the Russians blew up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. The water level in the house reached almost two meters. The family was left without electricity, food, and medicine. All this time the mother hid her sons from the occupiers so they would not be forced to study in a Russian school or be taken away from the family.
All the returned children and teenagers are now safe and are receiving the necessary support to gradually return to a peaceful life.
Recall, we recently wrote that from the temporarily occupied territory were returned girls and boys aged from 8 months to 17 years.
