Another group of children and adolescents has been returned to territory controlled by Ukraine from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Among those rescued are girls and boys aged from 8 months to 17 years.
According to Prokudin, the occupying authorities tried to illegally place an 11-year-old girl in a boarding school after learning that her mother serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A criminal case was opened against the woman and she was deprived of her parental rights.
Also among those rescued are boys aged five and eleven, whom Russian soldiers repeatedly took to the district center for a so-called “trial”. There the children were interrogated, humiliated, and their father was abused before their eyes.
At present all the children are safe and are receiving the necessary assistance.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, since the beginning of 2026, 19 children have already been returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to territory controlled by Ukraine.
Earlier we wrote that another group of children was able to return to territory controlled by Ukraine. These are boys and girls aged from 11 to 17 years.
