Another group of children and adolescents, aged 3 to 17, has been returned to territory under Ukrainian control from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to Prokudin, they were all under pressure from the occupying authorities and were subjected to coercion and the imposition of Russian propaganda. In particular, three- and five-year-old girls in a kindergarten were forced to draw the Russian tricolor and make gifts for Russian servicemen.
A seventeen-year-old at an occupation-run school was taught drill training and weapons handling, and was also placed on the military register, which could have led to his forced service in the Russian army after reaching adulthood.
Currently, the children are in the centers «Hope and Recovery», where they receive psychological assistance, support with processing documents, and temporary housing.
Earlier it was reported that on the territory of the Kherson community as of November 2025 there lived 7 children who had returned from the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region.
