Police officers of the Kherson region evacuated a minor resident of frontline Osokorivka.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson region police.
It is noted that the mother of a 16-year-old girl appealed to law enforcement with a request to take the child to a safer place — to relatives in the Beryslav district.
Osokorivka is located near the Dnipro River and is under constant threat of Russian shelling.
Police promptly arrived at the family’s residence and helped the girl leave the dangerous area. The 16-year-old child was evacuated in an armored service vehicle to a safer locality.
Earlier it was reported that from one of the frontline settlements of the Kherson city community, where mandatory evacuation of families with children has been announced, juvenile prevention officers evacuated a 12-year-old girl together with her mother.
