Police, together with volunteers, evacuated eleven local residents from frontline communities in Kherson region, including six children aged 5 to 16.
This was reported on the social media of the Kherson Region Police.
It was noted that people were evacuated from settlements near Kherson, as well as from the settlements of the Dar’ivska and Stanislavska communities.
“All rescue operations were carried out successfully. People were brought to safer places. Some families rented housing in Kherson, while volunteers helped others by promptly finding temporary accommodation and the necessary support”, – the post reads.
As a reminder, in Ukraine it was legislatively regulated the forced evacuation of children from zones of active hostilities even in the event of parental refusal.
Also in the summer of 2025 in Kherson region they expanded the list of populated places, where they announced mandatory evacuation of families and prohibited entry.
