From an area of Kherson that is included in the mandatory evacuation zone for families with children, a woman and her 12-year-old daughter were evacuated.
This was reported by the Kherson Oblast police.
According to law enforcement, prior to this the police repeatedly held preventive talks with the woman and persuaded her to leave for a safer place because of the threat to the child.
However, when enemy drone attacks intensified in the area and shelling became almost continuous, the woman agreed to be evacuated.
The evacuation was carried out by juvenile prevention officers together with volunteers using armored transport. The woman and the child were taken to a transit center where they received necessary assistance.
Earlier it was reported that from the dangerous suburb of Kherson law enforcement evacuated a woman with four children aged from three to nine years.
Also, in the Dnipro and Central districts of Kherson they plan to further expand the mandatory evacuation zone.
