From four settlements of the Stanislavska and Kherson communities, 46 children are being forcibly evacuated together with their parents or legal guardians.
This was reported by the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
Some families are planned to be moved to safer areas of Kherson region, to Mykolaiv or Odesa. There are also preliminary arrangements to accommodate people in Kryvyi Rih, as well as in Poltava, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Vinnytsia and Odesa oblasts.
Overall, the Ministry of Development notes that since June 1, 2025, more than 178,000 people have already been evacuated from frontline territories of Ukraine, among them more than 23,000 children and 6,000 people with limited mobility.
Currently, there are 14 transit centers operating in the country where evacuees can receive humanitarian, medical, psychological and legal support, as well as assistance with restoring documents and arranging payments.
Recall, at the beginning of March this year, due to the deterioration of the security situation and the increase in the number of Russian drone attacks in the Kherson region, the Regional Defense Council adopted a decision to carry out the compulsory evacuation of children.
