The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law that exempts owners of damaged and destroyed housing from paying for utility services.
This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.
The law provides for the cancellation of payments for building management and part of utility services for damaged or destroyed housing, defines how to account for losses from the war, and regulates the interaction of authorities, managers and suppliers to record damages and stop charges.
The relevant provisions will be in effect for the entire period of martial law and for one year after its termination or cancellation, the VRU website says.
