The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine again supported the decision to confer the title of Hero of Ukraine on a farmer from the Beryslav region, Oleksandr Hordiienko. 271 members of parliament voted for this.
This was reported by the head of the Charitable Foundation “Ukrainians Will Win” Ihor Yosypenko, citing the words of the deceased farmer’s son — Viktor Hordiienko.
As noted, the signing of the corresponding decree by the President of Ukraine is still pending.
Recall, on September 5 it became known that while working in the field a farmer was killed by a Russian drone attack Oleksandr Hordiienko.
Since 1998, Oleksandr Hordiienko headed the farming enterprise “Hordiienko” in the Beryslav district.
He was the head of the Association of Farmers of Kherson Oblast and a member of the Kherson Regional Council from Ihor Kolykhaiev’s party “We Live Here”.
