Servicemembers of the 40th Separate Marine Brigade underwent a psychological and physical obstacle-course test to receive sea-wave-colored berets.
This was reported by the unit’s press service.
During the course, the fighters negotiated smoke-filled trenches, live-fire obstacles, trenches with icy water, and also practiced tactical elements of defense and the evacuation of wounded comrades under difficult conditions.
The first group of servicemembers on the obstacle course was led by the brigade commander — Colonel Vladyslav Halkin.
Note that the qualifying exam is a mandatory condition for obtaining the right to wear the marine infantryman’s beret and for official enrollment in the unit.
