Ukrainian forces denied reports of an alleged infantry landing in the Ostriv microdistrict in Kherson.
This was reported on the page of the 34th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Marine Corps.
The brigade emphasized that this is another manipulation and an element of a disinformation campaign.
According to official data, the situation in this zone is stable and controlled. Ukrainian forces hold positions and destroy all attempts by Russian troops to approach the city.
Recall that as a result of airstrikes on August 2 and 3 the Ostriv Bridge – the only road bridge that connects the Korabel microdistrict with the mainland part of the city – was damaged.
By airstrikes on the bridge, Russian forces tried to complicate logistics for Ukrainian troops, but the Russians did not have the forces and means to force a crossing of the Dnipro.
