Over the past day on the Prydniprovsk direction Ukrainian units stopped three enemy attacks toward Antonivka and Kruhlyk Island.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
In total, 189 combat engagements were recorded across the entire front line during the past day.
It is noted that yesterday the enemy carried out 84 air strikes, dropped 234 guided aerial bombs on the territory of Ukraine.
In addition, Russian forces used 8409 kamikaze drones and carried out 3019 shellings of populated areas.
Earlier the spokesman of the Southern Defense Forces Vladyslav Voloshyn reported that Russian forces are transferring units from Kursk Oblast to strengthen the grouping in Kherson region and to intensify assault operations in the island zone of the Dnipro.
Voloshyn also reported that on the Kherson direction the intensity of use of Russian drones is increasing, in particular aircraft-type drones.
