The Kherson City Court on November 14, 2025, in absentia found 57-year-old Henichesk resident Natalya Galka guilty of collaborationist activities.
This was reported by “IRS-Pivden” citing the text of the verdict.
Court materials show that in the summer of 2022 Galka voluntarily agreed to head the occupation-run School No. 1 in Henichesk. Before that she worked as a primary school teacher at Henichesk Lyceum No. 1.
She was charged under parts 3 and 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — collaborationist activities.

The director of Lyceum No. 1, who had maintained friendly relations with Galka for over 20 years, told the court that the accused in August 2022 offered her to start working at the occupation-run school. The witness refused.
“I dismissed her from the position of teacher based on her resignation of her own free will. Galka offered me to side with the occupying authorities and a teaching position at the occupation school. I refused,” the verdict quotes the witness as saying.
For the totality of the charges, the court sentenced Natalya Galka to 9 years in prison with confiscation of property. She is also prohibited for 15 years after release from holding leadership positions in government bodies and from working in the field of education.
It is also known that the occupiers appointed Galka a “mundepka” in the so-called “council of mundeps” of Henichesk from the Russian party “United Russia”.
The verdict notes that Galka’s son lives in Russia and graduated from a military academy there, and her husband works as a doctor in occupied Henichesk in support of the occupying authorities.
Earlier we wrote that the Kherson City Court handed down a verdict to the former head of the city health department, Svitlana Mezheritska. She will spend 7 years in prison, although the prosecutor sought 10.
