The Ranok publishing house announced the list of semifinalists of the annual educators’ support award «Ranok Stars-2026». Among them are two teachers from the Kherson region.

Nominees from Kherson region — Olha Barvynska, an English teacher at Komyshanska General Education School I–III degrees No. 26 of the Kherson City Council, and Iryna Solona, a primary school teacher at Kherson General Education School I–III degrees No. 4.
This year 1857 applications were received for the award from all regions of Ukraine. Winners will be chosen in nine categories — «Star Teacher», «Unbreakable Teacher», «Teacher-Mentor», «Innovative Teacher», «Effective Teacher», «Problem Solving», «Creative Teacher», «Teacher Support» and «Young Teacher».
Cash prizes for the winners will range from 5,000 to 25,000 hryvnias.
In 2026 the award was supplemented with a new special category for school librarians — «Shine of Knowledge». The names of the ten winners in this category will be announced during the final event.
The winners of «Ranok Stars-2026» will be announced on February 26 during a ceremonial online event.
